Terms of Use
Effective date: June 17, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Probably Apps LLC ("we", "us") for the Midicast app. By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where it and these Terms conflict on the same point, the stricter consumer protection applies.
License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Midicast on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the App Store Terms of Service.
Subscriptions (Midicast Premium)
Midicast offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Midicast Premium, which unlocks the practice suite (graded challenges, daily sessions, the tempo ladder, and the stats dashboard). The app's free features — MIDI monitoring, recording, sessions, and export — do not require a subscription.
- Plans and price. Premium is offered as a monthly and an annual plan. Current prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region and over time.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial. If you don't cancel before it ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at the price shown.
- Billing and auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of any free trial). The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel any time in the App Store: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Free trial forfeiture. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple; refunds are subject to Apple's policies. We do not separately process payments or refunds.
Your content
Recordings and practice data you create are yours. We claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups (iCloud sync, where enabled, is a convenience and not a guaranteed backup service).
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: don't reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law, don't attempt to circumvent the subscription or security, don't use it to break the law, and don't interfere with its operation.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, design, and content (excluding your own recordings and data) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will achieve any particular learning or practice outcome. Midicast is a practice tool, not a guarantee of musical results.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Probably Apps LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update the app and these Terms over time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
